Safety Test Instructions: Please follow the link in your confirmation email to obtain your Temporary Boating Certificate. This is required for operators born on or after January 1, 1989 who are operating a motorboat or PWC in Wisconsin.
You must be 25 years of age to rent a boat.

- Temporary Boat Rentals – Wisconsin Requirements

A Temporary Boat Rental Safety Certificate Course is required for
Wisconsin residents and visitors who do not already possess a
valid boating education certificate, but who wish to rent a boat or
personal watercraft to operate on Wisconsin waters.
The online course costs $10 and provides the information you
need to earn a temporary boating certificate. The course is
available via smartphone, tablet or computer, and covers legal
requirements, navigation rules, personal watercraft (PWC)
operation, casting off, docking and more.
Upon completing the course, you will be issued a temporary
boating certificate allowing you to legally rent a boat or PWC in

- Temporary Boating Certificate Requirements:
• The certificate is valid until the end of the calendar year in
which it is issued.
• Can only be used by the person to whom it was issued and
can only be used to operate a motorboat or personal
watercraft which is rented or leased by the holder of the
certificate.
- Temporary Boating Certificate Requirements:
- We take a 30% deposit to hold the boat for you, you will be charged the remaining balance when you take delivery of your boat
- Prices do not include 5.1% Wisconsin State Tax
- You will be charged for the fuel you use. The boat will be delivered with a full tank. We will fill the tank when you are done and you will be charged the difference.
- The times you set are important, if you are late for the delivery or pickup you will be charged $20 per 5 minutes. Our drivers are on a set schedule and if you are late, you affect any rentals after you. It is best to be 10 minutes early.
- Reservations for more than 7 days can be made by calling 262-370-2669.
Cancellation Information
- If you cancel at least a 72 hours in advance, you will recieve your deposit less a 5% processing fee.
- If the reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of the reservation, the 30% deposit can be transferred to another reservation within a year of the reservation date. The deposit can be transferred only once, and it is not transferrable to another person.
- NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS FOR RESERVATIONS MADE FOR JUNE 30 – JULY 7, 2024
Delivery/Pick up information
- Be at the launch ramp to meet your delivery person at least 10 minutes early to get the paperwork done and the boat launched promptly.
- You will need your driver’s license for identification at check in.
- You will be given a lake map and contact information for the pick up to keep with you.
- Lakes are governed by the Wisconsin Department of Resources and the municipalities that surround the lake help them enforce the rules. Be respectful to the boaters around you and check out the WDNR website to refresh your memory of waterway rules. https://dnr.wi.gov/files/PDF/pubs/LE/LE0301.pdf
- DO NOT BE LATE FOR YOUR DELIVERY OR PICK UP. You will be charged $20 per 5 minutes late. Our delivery people are on tight delivery and pick up schedules, if you are late it is disrespectful to our delivery people and the other customers they have to meet.
